The Wellington Aero Club is a private aeronautical community in the Village of Wellington. It has about 240 custom-built homes on one-acre lots, many with private hangars, set around a lighted, paved runway of roughly 4,000 feet.
No plane is needed to live here. Aircraft that use the private airstrip (FD38) must be registered with management and have insurance on file, and guest aircraft need a registration form at least 24 hours before arrival. Source.
